Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 8th, 1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of the company that contracts for work, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German and British Isles descent. Stone began her acting career in her youth as an Valley Youth Theatre member in Phoenix, Arizona. She first appeared on stage in Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows." Through her teens Stone was an active participant of numerous productions until she decided to pursue acting as a profession. Informally, she developed an PowerPoint presentation, which was backed by Madonna's "Hollywood", and entitled "Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to allow her quit school and move to Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted by the parents, she and her mother relocated to LA. She continued to study at home, and also auditioned. Her TV breakthrough when she was awarded the role of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 Reality/Talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004) which led to several small TV roles over the next years. After several performances that were successful, she was able to take on the role of Jules in Superbad (2007). Her success as Olive was a highlight of her role in Easy A (2010) followed by several more roles. In Phoenix, Arizona, she was a student at Xavier College Preparatory. Although she's a redhead, her natural hair shade her hair is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she alter her hair color to match Superbad (2007). She loved it so much, she chose to keep her hair. When she was 15years old, she convinced her parents to allow her to go to Hollywood through a PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately named Project Hollywood. At 11 years old she started her acting career in the Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix, AZ. There, she performed in 16 stage productions and performed in the comedy Improv troupe. Caylee Cowan also performed in the Valley Youth Theatre.
