Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley while her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was able to show an early interest in sports as she was taking classes at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that at the time. After just 10 weeks of her first attempt, Felix was second in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix was a senior in high school having signed a professional contract with the company that makes sports Adidas and then enrolled at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200-meter event. She was able to defend the title once again in 2007, by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in the Olympics and in the Olympics of Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her competitions.
