Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was conceived in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood. As a child, Britney attended dance classes and excelled at gymnastics. She was a winner of many contests and other similar. Britney was a great dancer and singer. Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) at age 8. The show was not accepted due to her young age. Her next audition was for "Ruthless" which was an off-Broadway production, in which she performed as the title persona for two years. At the age of 11, she tried again for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989). It was a different time, she played a mouseketeer along with many other stars of today, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez (*NSYNC) and Ryan Gosling. The biggest break for her, however, came after she was signed as an artist with Jive Records in the late 90s. Britney was a huge success after her first album, "Baby one more time." "...Baby another time" in 1999. She sold over 13 million copies (as as of July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I did it Again" and was released in May 2000. Britney was born to Lynne Spears & Jamie Spears and she has a large brother, Bryan Spears & a little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney is a child of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to become a famous. Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) when she was eight. But, she was too old to be considered a suitable candidate. Britney relocated to New York with her mother and the baby sibling. She appeared in numerous TV commercials and was also the understudy of Natalie Portman in "Ruthless" off-Broadway. Her love of dance and music grew and, 2 years later, she auditioned for the role on "Mickey Mouse" again, and this time, got the part with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
