Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on
September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson designs

Destiny's Child. Solange and her sister (4 years apart) has released her debut

and Canadian ancestors. Beyonce also descends 1/32 Irish as well as her
maternal line has distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian- and Chinese roots. Has
been quoted as saying that in order to overcome her shyness, she developed a
stage persona named "Sasha".
